Dear Sheba, sorry you had a bad experience. I went to a TJ dentist. He was very nice and entertaining and very funny, but the technology reminded me of the Wild West days! Does that describe the feeling you got, or is it a very modern dentist office with ultra-modern x-ray machines, etc? My dentist just looked at my husband's teeth and declared "no cavities!" No x-rays or anything! This guy is even a friend of friend, and highly regarded in Mexico. Made me want to get a American Dental Insurance package right away.
