Not receiving emails

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post / ask this, but I am not receiving emails when someone posts to a thread I started. At first I was, but that did not last long. I go back to the thread and realize someone has posted, but that is the only way I know about it.
Can you tell me how I make sure I get notified via email when there is a reply to my own post? I do always check the appropriate boxes to get emails, etc.
