Thank you for this very detailed post.

Just as an added FYI, there is a brand of Orange Juice in my part of the US called Tropicana. The version of it which has "Added Calcium" uses- (roll the drums) ta-da- Calcium Hydroxide. :-)

Here's a question for Moreless:
If the chemical formula for CH is CaH2O2, then does CH add not only calcium, but also Oxygen to the Alkalizing Drink? (H2O2 is the same chemical formula as Hydrogen Peroxide, yes?)?
