Urea is a natural moisturizer that makes up 7% of the natural moisturising factor in the outer layer of our skin (but only if it's healthy). Urea was proven effective for lots of skin disorders, so I decided to try it for Seb. Dermatitis.
1-2 times a day I wash my face with pH-neutral soap, afterwards I apply a cream containing 10% Urea to it. Have been without flare-ups for about 2 months. Only when I stopped using the Urea for a few days, the redness came back.
The only problem is that your face will probably look very greasy. But you can solve that problem by pressing a handkerchief on your skin for a few seconds, so you don't have to wash it away all the time.
