underarm odor - for fealkblin
Hi fealkblin,
I've been thinking about you, and how you were saying that your odor is more of an underarms issue. In addition to the recommendations I gave you about shaving and trying to kill the bacteria under your arm, I failed to mention your clothes.
The bacteria that is found under your arm that produces
Body Odor also contaminates your shirts under the arm. When both my sons started with underarm odor at the beginning of puberty, they shaved under their arms, used antibacterial cream at night in their armpit, and washed it of during the day and used antiperspirant deodorant during the day. HOWEVER, I SYSTEMATICALLY SPRAYED EACH OF THEIR SHIRTS AND PULLOVERS WITH SHOUT OR ANTIBACTERIAL FABRESE UNDER THE ARMS EACH AND EVERY TIME I WASHED THEM until the odor was completely gone. It worked so well that even though my older son has his metabolic condition odor, he and his clothes NEVER smell of underarm odor.
It serves no good to kill the bacteria in your armpit to then re-contaminate them again with the bacteria already living in your shirts. Washing them alone with laundry detergent is not sufficient. You need to spray them with antibacterial or spot stain-removing cleansers as well.
I hope this works for you.
