By "irreversible" I meant that if the surgery is unsuccessful in some way or further damage is created then it's more trauma and then you have to hopefully wait for THAT to heal, or have more surgeries to repair the surgery etc.
I would think if there are hundreds or thousands of patients who have had successful cavitation surgeries which totally resolved their problems that some of them might enthusiastically be posting that info here or elsewhere online, which I've yet to see.
