The author also recomends stopping some foods starting w/dairy products - this may or may not be the same as you're experiencing but thought you may find some info of interest there.

(From my end I'd say to consume 1 tsp. cayenne pepper mixed w/fresh lemon juice each day - it boosts circulation thus, regeneration of tissues is enhanced. I also use a cayenne mixed w/castor oil plaster (external) whenever a joint acts up, cover or wrap and leave for as long as you can (it will eventually get really hot) and all pain and swelling clears up within 24 hrs. - However please note that I have no diagnosed illnesses of any type. Just occassional body hiccups.)
