4 months 6 days post removal

Hello to the old friends I have made and to the new women here on curezone. I am almost 17 weeks post removal and I know that it is nice to hear how we women are feeling this far post, especially if you are in the beginning of the mirena mess.

In a nutshell, I had the mirena in for 5 weeks, I had 4 ER visits, and was hospitalized for 2 days. My side effects were:

Anxiety
Depression
Nausea
Panic Attacks
Heart Palpitations
Nervousness
Insomnia
Crazy mood swings
Crying 95% of the day

Almost 17 weeks later:

Anxiety - 80% gone
Depression - 80% gone both of these hit around ovulation and 2 days before my period
Nausea - gone
Panic Attacks - gone
Heart Palpitations - gone
Nervousness - gone
Insomnia - gone
Crazy mood swings 80% gone agin around ovulation and before period
Crying 95% of the day - 80% better, I am still emotional at times
No appetite at all, lost almost 40lbs in 3 months - much better I was overweight to begin with 180lbs so now I work hard to eat healthy and I have kept the weight off and have an appetite and am at 143lbs.

I hope this helps! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, keep a positive attitude and be patient, I know it is very hard and right now some of you are at a point that you feel like you are losing control of your emotions, and body and no one understands you, not even your ob, or doctor, Your husband tries to help but he doesn't understand either, and why should he we don't really understand what is going on with our bodies. My husband thought I was obsessed with this site for the 1st 2 and a half months to 3 months, I was on curezone everyday all day looking for answers, asking questions....

I was there, I promise it will get better. For those of you who suffer from depression, do not be ashamed or afraid to try an antidepressant. I am on a childs dose of zoloft I take 12.5mg in the morning and 12.5mg at night. I spoke to my Dr today and we hope to be off of them by September. Good luck to all of you. I wish all of you a speedy post recovery.

Danielle
