I'm not sure what effect the - has. I'm an A positive, and I find the blood type diet when I looked at it, several years ago, surprised me with how often the "avoids" were things I instinctively do not like; that DOESN'T extend to vinegar though! I love ACV
and balsamic. (though I've taken to using only ACV of late).
You might like to just scan the lists that are available online -- just out of curiosity, to see what you naturally 'avoid' and what is said to be good 'on occasion'.
I sort of loosely follow the recommendations, while going with what's arising at the time. I was delighted to find green tea and red wine were considered "beneficial" for A's. As is Tamari, and a few other things I've always felt acted like good medicine.
