I remember Gary Powers, dressed completely in US-insignia'd clothing, even carrying his drivers license yet alleged to be a spy, landing in Russia on May 1, 1960, the most sacred commie holiday, supposedly on a spy mission, which landing spoilt the upcoming peace talks between Ike & Kruschev. A plurality of saboteurs operating within the US military.

I think it probably only required one general in the pentagon, or someone passing messages under his name, to get the U2 fueled up and in the air, of course with a less-than-full charge of hydrogen in the H2 tanks to ensure a flame-out just over halfway thru the flight. Who had the authority to cause a U2 to hit the air ?

In any event, it showed that important things happen that the pres. doesn't even have control over. Then the B of Pigs, when ships named the Houston, the Barbara, and the Zapata were used, further illustrated that forces other than the pres were at work. And of course the Dealey Plaza event.

There is a well-funded network in operation, that is self-perpetuating, whose origin derives back to the time period 1915-1922. It consists of the most intelligent minds in the world.
