Too bad you didn't go ahead with the defense. When a long time member comes on and just says "wow" and has a friendly "chitchat" about your avatar with someone who has come into a private forum and made such a heinous post, you unknowingly give credence to what the member has posted simply by engaging him in conversation and reinforce it by failing to make a comment about the wrongness he posted. Forgetting oleander do you think it was correct to post a death wish for me? So I don't appreciate that, even if it was unintentional.

Neither do I appreciate the fact that suddenly 40 viewers showed up in short order complete with 5 agree votes for the filth that he posted. I have pages and pages on that forum and there have not been even a total of 5 votes disagreeing with me in all the posts and months it has been there. So that was quite obviously an organized effort and any protest to the contrary is ludicrous. Perhaps your appearance was coincidental, though I am not one who often believes in coincidence when there is an obvious conspiracy going on.

Nevertheless I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt and I do not consider you and I to be opponents - if for no other reason than the fact that someone I consider a very sage and good friend named Steve W. has spoken highly of you, as have a couple of others.

Your points, btw, are well taken and indeed there have been lessons learned and mistakes and over-reactions. Just like in the area of natural health, life is a learning process and so I appreciate the input. I think perhaps that many here at CZ may have learned a bit too - such as perhaps that there are limits to what I will put up when it comes to lies and defamation, although those who really have followed my posts know that I will take a lot, and often give it right back. As I say though, there are limits. And perhaps some will also appreciate the fact that I will back down from no one and not buckle under to fight for what I believe is right.

I will point out that as far as I am concerned the ban button is indeed a tool you may use as you see fit as long as it is available. As for myself, other than one multiple ID offender, I have used it one time in four years at my Yahoo forum and, other than the multiple ID offender who instigated this mess, have not used it at all in my own forum here at CZ. To each his own, as they say.

As I posted earlier, V, and I am sure you agree enough is enough now. I have stated my objections and set my limits and people can accept or at least respect them or not. There is no reason to continue to do so - and the repeated multiple IDs and block of created votes here has made it a mockery at any rate. Hopefully those of us who deserve to stay and who support the reason for this forum can now put aside the petty differences, or at least debate them with at least a minimum of civility and stay within the rules, and go back to educating instead of medicating and doing our best to help those who need it.
