there are also lessons to be learned about how to appropriately run a website and particularly one that has the resources and the high visibility of CureZone! The following post also addresses some other issues regarding the freedom of speech for ALL CureZone members...

I, too, have learned a great deal about myself from observing my reactions to posts and to some of the childish games that are being played out on this website. CureZone has been a tremendous growth opportunity for me in terms of challenging myself and my beliefs, and learning to push through many of my personal barriers and for that I am very grateful. However, I have also learned that there are times when it is appropriate to take action and to even make to make a lot of noise about something regardless of whether or not people are comfortable with it.
As far as name calling goes, CureZone doesn't hold a candle to some of the things that people have said about me lately anyway! Just in the last few days I had a tribal elder tell me to "go kill something else, white man" on the internet. And a psychotic woman loudly shouted "I don't want that god damn woman blowing smoke up my ass" when I was standing outside of a store minding my own business and smoking a cigarette. And I was called a "fvcking idiot", an "anemic bony ass" and also flipped off by a former boyfriend. Considering the sources though, I realize that I am making some outstanding progress, lol, and it is giving me very good practice for knowing how to handle a lot of other negativity that I know will inevitably be coming my way in the future. And it truly is quite amazing to observe just how much these folks are like children throwing a temper tantrum, and how unsettled they become when they don't get attention for their behavior. Nevertheless, just as any responsible adult is with a child, there comes a time to set limits and bullies need to be contained when they are harming other children!
