Re: The Whole Story About Whole Foods Market

We lost a very good, almost 40 year old co-op in our town last year due to their mis-management of money...

We still have several including one very good one run by Mennonites.

We also have a very few, 2 that I know of, small, "health food stores" that carry some locally wild and organically produced foods that are raw and unprocessed, including dairy and honey.

Then there are the Farmers markets and a few bio-dynamic farms that one can "buy" into... and even help with; some also have a produce waste turn in program for composting.

Finding good foods, if one is not self sustaining is getting ever more difficult; unless you like to forage :-)

Doing a few hours of that this afternoon... already have a few pounds of fresh nopal cactus to cook for tonight... and a few "weeds" to spice it up with.
