New to Mirena, also using Lupron

Hi, new to this forum but very busy reading! I am currently on Lupron injections every month for Endometriosis. I was supposed to have 3 injections only, but it looks like I will be on it for 6 months. Anyhow, my doctor also put me on Mirena, for long term relief from my Endo symptoms. The insertion of it was the most painful and terrifying thing I have ever been through and really really regretting it all. I was feeling "ok" on the Lurpon and was pain free. (I know the bad side effects of Lurpon; this is my 2nd time on it). Since having the Mirena placed, I really don't know which side effect is coming from which. I am pretty surprised to hear about all of the side effects of Mirena. I was basically told that I wouldn't even know I had it. So...I am feeling pretty lost. I am having major SE from the Lurpon, and now the pain, spotting and who knows what else from the Mirena. I am wondering if all of this is worth it, or if I was just better off suffering with the Endo. Very frustrated... Tweet
