Makes sense to me

We're being jumped on by crazy extremists from every angle.  Want to know who your friends really are?  Wait until you have to find the common denominator in common sense.  We are going to find out very quicklly in this nation who is really who, and that's exactly what we have been seeing in the last months/weeks/days.

Adversity has only one good outcome, it brings some people closer to each other and to God.

It has been very interesting watching how we who take part in this forum have unfolded.  Many of us started out from completely different positions, but as the insanity develops, we find more and more that at the core we are really looking for very similar things.    We have held different opinions on how to achieve those ends.  I hope we don't get to find out that none of our ideas work in the long run.....for perhaps it was all decided already and it doesn't look anything like what any of us thought.

I sound pessimistic?  Yeah, probably...I think I need to go and find a bar of dark chocolate now...
