Re: Time to accept defeat!

I do not believe that Seborrheic Dermatitis is a genetic condition any more than I believe that headaches are determined by genetics. You are NOT destined to suffer from this for the rest of your life! Just as a headache is an indication that something is wrong with your body, seb derm is an indication that something is wrong. It might go away next week and you will not know why, just as headaches and illnesses come and go. You lived without it for years, right? For now, focus on being GENTLE with your skin and continuing to experiment with the ideas mentioned here, and DO NOT GIVE UP. Keep doing things to keep the problem manageable until it goes away. Remember to be very gentle with your skin and keep cleaning it using a mild cleanser. Try peachblossom's "cure" to see if it works for you. DON't GIVE UP!!!
