Tumor question/theory.....

If a certain species of animals is commonly getting tumors on their "scent glands", couldn't it be because they're rubbing their scent glands on things picking up toxins that eventually build up?

Plastic, rubbing on a floor that could have cleaning residue, certain types of wood,.. "Marking" their mates who have oily coats that weren't bathed off..etc.

Just a thought.
