Re: Simple 9 volt battery zapper works!

I have just received the $10 zapper and replaced the copper finger grips with two pieces of copper pipe.

1st question - please explain the method of tapping. The instructions that came with it did not suggest this.

2nd question - how do you tell when the 9 volt battery is used up? Silly question but it occurred to me while using it for the first time that I am usually a low responder and don't normally feel the effects of something like this (while using) so I won't be able to gauge when it no longer is putting out voltage.
