Prior to my "slack off" period during the holidays, a typical day for me would be: to drink only liquids until 11:30 or so (mostly this was water, but sometimes it would be juice, or a kefir smoothie if I was hungry); lunch was usually a big salad (organic mixed greens, peppers, celery, carrots, avocados, balsamic vinegar, olive oil) and a piece of fruit; dinner varied and that's where any carbs I ate would come in.
I tried not to eat a lot of them though. Summer time, I had no problem with less carbs. Winter is harder. I was trying not to eat much meat last year too. But since I just read about the blood type diet, I'm going to give that a try. I'm type O, so it looks like I'll get to enjoy some grass-fed beef with my hubby this summer! :)
