Re: Bad Cold - Can I put drops of coconut oil in my nostrils?

YES of course you can!! Last night my hubby put some of the white coconut oil/butter we make ourselves at home in his nose as he had come home from work with cold sniffles and totally stuffed up. We place a bit of the coconut oil solid up into the end of the nose caps and just lay back and let it melt up and in, maybe stretching the cheecks out with your hand, GENTLY of course, and sniff a little to get it up in there. Then, after about 10 min get up, wipe off any excess and a while later your sinuses should clear some! At least his did, I use it in my nose at least once a week to keep my sinus happy and have always had terrible issues with stuffed nose, NO MORE!!
