Hi. I am not really talking about judging (tho I agree with you on that point). I can also agree that it is at least perceived by many Christians that a commandment to evalngelize is built into the deal (side note: I assume that because not all Christians DO evengelize, and also because not all Christians are "Evengelical Christians" (ie. belong to an Evangelical church), that this is a point that might be open for some disagreement?.) But in any case, my impression was that the poster was looking for advice as to how to be more effective. As someone who dislikes being evangelized to regardless of what religion/cause is doing it, I was trying to point out techinques that would make an audience more receptive and thus achieve the poster's ultimate goal of adding to the Christian base. The old, catch more flies with honey, thing. Did Jesus not most effectively lead by example, and people were therefore drawn to him? If that were the case, the government would not be a factor. They are only there to guard against people's rights (to say no) being violated. If no one "wants" to say no Christianity, then no problem. That is of course fantasy, someone will always say no. The goverment should protect those that want to say "no". Like your screen name, "bfree"! That is for everyone.

If however, the original poster is really thinking, "how can I get eveyone to do as I say and become Christian", well, good luck with that one!
