I went through the agony of listening to competing opinions regarding this process many years ago. The pain was so persistent that I was on the brink of suicide. I decided to take an informed risk and see Alexander Roberts, Jerry Bouqout and Dr. McMahon. I underwent multiple curettage. I experienced pain relief at every site curetted with the exception of under my nose. Dr. McMahon introduced me to a leading hematologist in cincinnati. When I started blood thinners, my pain started to go into remission. This went on for two years. finally, the pain disappeared. My pain has been in total remission for five years now. I am planning to return to my profession. I am so glad I did not play the good girl and kowtow to the prestige experts in Manhattan and Boston. The stakes were very clear cut to me.
I must wear special dental plates that cost a small fortune. a small price to pay for normality. Whether the pain will stay in remission is another story. I enjoy every day.
