Everything that you are describing are signs of the Mirena.... including the dry eyes. Bayer's own report states that women who wear contact lenses could get some trouble and should see an opthalmologist when they do. Take a look at the side effects mentioned in this document:
I thought the worst thing was the depression. I couldn't lose any weight after my babies were born (I had Mirena three times). I didn't have Mirena after my firstborn and I lost all the pregnancy weight right after birth.... It felt as if my body couldn't recover from the pregnancy and giving birth AT ALL. My hair got thinner, I was constantly bloated, my stomach hurt, I had dizziness and nausea...had edema on my ankles and fingers. And anxiety and depression, for which my doctor prescribed anti depressants. I'm off them now (since this week) and I'm three months post Mirena removal. It may take up to 6 months to feel really 'normal' again but I'm 80% there already. My husband's much happier too ;) I couldn't care less about sex while on mirena. And most of the time I hated my husband and had no patience at all with the kids... They love having their mom back ;) Take care and kind regards
