I didn't read that book, but here's what i do. They're right about water dilluting the acids. I drink water about 30 mins before a meal, and 60 mins after a meal. I take veggie juice before a meal, then i clean the juicer and prepare the meal after that. I usually have fruit juice at breakfast, and fruit throughout the day. I don't drink anything with my meals, and it doesn't bother me. If you get thirsty during your meal maybe some raw veggies/salad would help quench your thirst.
