I just purchased and received 10 pounds of unpasteurized almonds from
http://www.ALMONDS-FROM-CALIFORNIA.COM
for $59.99 including shipping which is about $6.00 a pound. The new law requiring pasteurization is for almond processors, repackers, and distributors. ALMOND GROWERS are allowed to sell unpasteurized almonds to individuals at local California famer's markets, and to individuals via mail order, one order a day.
