I used an Epilady about a year and 1/2 ago. I only used it about 10 times. I started noticing that the skin was starting to break at the surface. I did speak to an esthetician about this and she confirmed that the top layer of my skin had been dammaged by the Epilady. She told me that since more than a year had gone by and since it still hasn't healed properly...it would probably stay this way.

Prior to using the Epilady, I had always used wax with great results...should've stuck with that...Now, even the waxing is not possible as my skin seems to have been permanently dammaged by the Epilady and every time I try to wax now....my skin breaks out all over, big red spots, white water pockets form...

The surface of the skin now seems a bit wrinkled and much thinner so I have to shave the old-fashioned way. I NEVER had any skin problems prior to using the Epilady!

Anyways, I've tried a series of oils during the past year to try and cure this broken skin : Emu oil, tea tree oil, extra virgin cold-pressed coconut oil, grapeseed extract oil, etc..
Maybe I haven't tried it for long enough or maybe there's a miracle oil I'm not aware of...

If anyone out there has ANY good suggestions...
I'm all ears!
Thanks
T
