What do Swollen Lymph Nodes look like?

I had unprotected sex about 8 months ago and I've showed no symptoms of HIV whatsoever until I noticed a couple lumps on the back my neck a few weeks ago. I don't know what swollen lymph nodes look like, so could someone please describe them to me? These lumps I have are very small and i have about 4 of them. No pain at all. All different sizes but pretty unnoticeable. Do I need to worry since I just started seeing them a couple weeks ago and not like 4 weeks after my possible exposure. I made a doctors appointment for this monday just in case. I'm freaking out of course when I prob. shouldn't be. Tweet
