From Andreas about our lips...
The accelerated skin growth of your lip skin is in direct response to the same thing happening in the corresponding parts of the inner skin that forms the lining of the stomach and intestines. The lower outer lip represents the large intestine and the lower inner lip represents the small intestine. The upper lip represents the condition of the stomach.
There is nothing external that can stimulate the accelerated skin cell growth, except being in strongly heated or air-conditioned rooms all day (which dehydrates the outer skin layer quickly). However, the situation is different in your case. The faster growth is necessary to protect the soft connective tissue from further damage. Physically, the connective tissue of your gastrointestinal tract and lips has been overexposed to harmful acids, and is dehydrated, from the inside out. To reverse this situation, you will need to make adjustments to your diet/lifestyle, as well as cleanse the blood and lymph, and de-acidify the connective tissues.
For one thing, avoid eating strongly –acid-forming, lymph congesting and dehydrating foods, such as meat, fish, eggs, poultry, cheese, and milk, soy products, sugar, sweets, popcorn, chips, vinegar, commercial salad-dressings, frozen foods, man-made cereals, and really all processed foods.
Instead, eat foods with high moisture contents such as a vegetable, salads, fruits, grain foods, legumes, nuts and seeds.
Make sure to eat your main meal at around noon to increase your digestion and absorption of nutrients. Avoid drinking with meals to avoid diluting digestive juices, but drink water about ½ hour before meals to keep the blood thin while you eat.
Start your lunch with a salad that may contain lettuce, cucumber, avocado, cilantro, grated carrot, pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds, lemon juice and olive oil. Then have cooked vegetables (such as broccoli, carrot, zucchini, asparagus, fennel, mushrooms, etc. etc., cooked with some mild spices such as cumin, cardamom, coriander, fennel, fenugreek, turmeric, etc., some unrefined
Sea Salt , olive oil, coconut oil or unsalted butter,
Add some grain foods such as buttered white Basmati rice, Millet, buckwheat, whole-wheat couscous of similar, plus some nuts or legumes (lentils/ beans).
( see also body-type food lists in Timeless Secrets of health and Rejuvenation).
In the evening, only eat lightly, such as a blended vegetable soup with some toasted bread with butter perhaps. Don’t eat later than 6:30 p.m. In the morning you may eat oatmeal or other hot cereals. Almond milk, rice milk or hemp milk are fine.
Start your mornings with drinking one glass of warm water (not hot, not cold), and then another glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon of raw honey (from a glass jar) and the juice from one slice of fresh lemon. Wait for at least half hour before eating your breakfast.
Drink 6-8 glasses of water per day to keep the tissue hydrated.
If you eat fruit, eat it mid-morning or mid-afternoon on its own, to avoid fermentation in the intestines.
