Thanks for replying, it's good to see someone trying to help me. I haven't seen anyone else's post because there were too many threads to go through and most of them were old. If anyone could be kind enough to give me direct links, I would be so grateful.
I'm alone with this disease, I haven't talked to anyone about it and when I tried to tell my parents, they think it's a joke. They are somehow immune to the smell. I heard about TMAU, I don't believe I have that though, I really think it's my diet. At first I thought it was my sinuses but I went to an ENT and there was nothing wrong with me except for a minor inflammation which I had surgery for. My first recollection of it was after eating pizza at night. Then the next two weeks at school, everyone complained about a smell but I didn't realize it was me until later. I tried to fix it by using excessive mouthwash which exponentially made the smell worse and later found out the mouth wash I used was expired!! Argh!
That was a year and a half ago. I'm so pissed that this is holding me back, can't live my life or do anything. This is too controlling.
I can't buy too many things too since I have to pay for everything myself and I don't have a steady job. Does anyone have a list of things that people used and was cured for?
Just started my diet last week and I avoid meats, dairy products, processed foods, snacks, and sugar. Nothing happening so far but I'm just continuing it.
I hate this disease, no one honestly knows what I go through on a daily basis. I'm tired of the comments and they act like I have poor hygiene or something. The insults are too much. All the good stuffs are passing me by, I hope someone here could help me.
