Re: Day 11: Can anyone please identify? PIC!
I am very impressed by your webpage! What reporting your day-by-day experience will help a lot of other folks :)
What you are expelling is indeed liver flukes. The foul stools you mention on your page are a very classic sign of parasites. Healthy stool should be a nice shade of brown or tan - should be about the width and length of a newborn's arm - should sink nicely to the bottom of the bowl and should have a not unpleasant "earthy" odor that does not offend or linger.
When the liver is clogged with flukes - it can't produce the 1-1and 1/2 quarts of bile per day that is necessary for proper digestion. Without enough bile - gas, bloating and some very foul stools will follow. Also - bad bacteria in the gut can cause the same bloating, gas and horrible stools. HUMAWORM removes all parasites - including the bacteria.
Liver flukes are one of the easiest parasites to see in the stool simply because they live in acid (bile) their whole life and are not "broken down" by it when they die and leave the body.
Hang in there - there will be more to come.
