Below are the nutrition contents in a tablespoon of black strap molasses. Personally, I believe you need to strive for a good balance of minerals. All the electrolyte minerals are important, this includes calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium. I nearly died from hypokalemia about ten years ago; too little potassium can lead to heart failure. Its vital to keep minerals balanced and in proper ratio to each other.
