Alkalyzing Drink Questions
Quick questions about the alkalyzing drink:
The recipe says "Alkalyzing Drink: the juice of 1/4-1/2 of a lemon, 1-6 or more (start out slow) Tablespoons of Pickling Lime Water (1 Tablespoon of Pickling Lime diluted into 1 Gallon of Distilled Water), 1-3 Tablespoons of Blackstrap Molasses, 1 Tablespoon of high quality, cold water kelp" but that is not very much liquid. How much water do you add to the drink?
Also, I did a short 12 day master cleanse beginning Jan 2 of this year. I plan on doing another in a month or two. The ingredients of the alkalyzing drink are the same as for the master cleanse except for the pickling lime. If I were to add the pickling lime to the master cleanse drink, would this be advisable? I can't see where adding the lime could hurt, where it might keep digestion going during the cleanse. Thoughts?
Lastly, I had to cut short my master cleanse because I had a gout attack during the cleanse (couldn't stand a third night of no sleep and had to go back to work). I figure that the cleanse dislodged some uric acid within my body which caused the gout attack. Will the lime drink, coupled with other lifestyle changes, purge my body of the uric acid? Or might it possibly help mitigate another gout attack during another cleanse? Gout is very painful and while I welcome the thought that my body is purging the uric acid, I do not relish the thought of the pain. Thoughts?
Thank you,
