It's good that you made ur mind up about ur fast!:)

30 days?.. Have u ever fasted for extended period of time? What was ur longest water fast?.. If it is your first one then why not to start with setting short term goals? Say 7 days.. As soon as u are there - 10 days and so on. I am about to finish my 10 day Water Fast and, I think, for a start it is better to start setting short term goals. For example me, I always had a tendency to break fast in a wrong way. Well, I always started with salad and then either the same day or surely the day after I 'recharged my batteries' by eating everything within my sight. Thanks to God those fasts were just 1-2 days long. So if u have the same tendency then better to be on a safe side and start with, say, 7 day of a Water Fast (or a juice fast) and then finish it CORRECTLY following refeeding period which shell be equal the amount of days u were doing ur fast. As soon as u have done everything properly the next step, after a some time, could be 10 days and so on. I know 30 day Water Fast sounds like WOW (I will get this, I will look that, everything will be just fantastic and in JUST 30 days..). But the thing is not everyone can do it. We need to think about our potentials and take into consideration some tendencies in our eating habits.

Don't jump into making emotional decisions. Take ur time. Think about ur REAL potentials and then make ur mind up:)
