I agree with what you're saying in your post, and I can understand the frustrations that we all feel regarding the tsunami of illegals from the southern border, but I take exemption to one little sentence you made, and you'll see why:
"Mexico has one language, one religion, one culture, one race though some are more spanish than INdian"
NO. Most Mexicans are not more Spanish than Indian, quite the opposite. The small percentage of Mexicans that are full-blooded, many generations and often intermarrying people of Spanish descent are upper to middle class and they have very elitist atittudes. You don't see those guys gardening and tomato picking, but shopping at large and expensive department stores in the US and Europe, where they can afford to get tourist visas and then go back to thir cushy lifestyles. If they keep their mouths shut you wouldn't know who they are by their looks. These white Mexican elitists could care less about the problem the US is having because it doesn't affect them, it actually benefits them!!
What you may not be aware of, is that in the meantime the nation of Spain is having as bad or worse time with illegals flooding into their nation. Spain gets them in from Africa to the south, from eastern Europe to the East and from airplane travel from all over, mostly Mexico and central America. There are now more than 800,000 illegals in a country roughly the size of Texas, and since the Spanish birthrate has been dangerously low for decades, it is the illegal immigrants who are having all the babies. Are the Spanish people happy? No. Many Latin Americans, and especially Mexicans, show an enormous amount of contempt and even hatred for Spaniards, all the while taking advantage of the growing economic opportunities the land has to offer. Sound familiar?
What has become a nightmare for many citizens who see their clean cities and European customs and traditions trashed and trampled, is worsened by the present socialist administration in Spain which seeks to extend amnesty to all these illegals. This, to the horror of the majority of citizens whose voices go nowhere.
Looking at the really big picture, doesn't anybody wonder why there is an attempt at making a worldwide hodge-podge of people; why traditional European ways and peoples (yes, including Americans) are being eradicated, subjugated and stepped on into oblibion????
It is not just a local problem in the US, and I think we need to wake up to what is actually happening in the world. The Ron Paul campaign ought to have inculcated an important lesson in all of us. Democratic governments are no longer such, and people are no longer the ones that decide their governments. Yup, there's a much, much bigger picture here, and at least for knowledge sakes, it's nice to see all of the parts of the puzzle for what they are.
It's nice to be able to share on this forum, for as long as we can ...
