I have also heard many good things about TENS units and carpal tunnel, specifically they are able to reduce or eliminate pain for many people.  I have been searching around and found that they make actual gloves for TENS units now and I am thinking about giving them a try as I spend 8hrs a day at a computer.  Found it here in case anyone is curious www.promolife.com/pain-relief/tens-pain-relief-units/tens-garment-glove/prod_1756.html
