I have been oil pulling for almost an entire year now. It has changed my life. I was on vacation last week, and because a snowstorm made us leave late I didn't have time to run to the store to buy more oil. So, I thought going one week without oil pulling would be all right. Well, it was a disgusting reminder as to why I oil pull. I would wake up in the morning with a nasty taste in my mouth. I was so congested with mucuos that I literally felt a drowning sensation where I couldn't catch my breath - up until the point that I was able to cough mucous free. My nose was so full of mucous that I had disgusting boogers. At one point I ended up with a gross booger ball in my mouth - snot and boogers had become dislodged and in the back of my throat. I ended up with sinus headaches, and I had the early stages of a cold. I had a sore throat, and I still have a sore throad. I forgot how bad off I really was before op. This was common for me on a regular basis during winter. I am still feeling pretty icky. Sorry for this gross post. I thought one week without op would be all right, but I guess not.
