Re: How to Finalize a Root Canal?

I am not sure if this is what you are asking...but I had 2 root canals pulled and cleaned by a bio. dentist. After he cleaned it out and (yucko) scrapped the bone then he filled the hole with I believe the calcium hydroxide and it would act like bone after it healed. He filled the hole immediatley.
Also I have a question for anyone to answer.My root canals were removed 2 years ago PLUS I had ALL the Amalgam in my mouth removed. I did it all at the same bio dentist and they had the hi-tech removal system plus the oxygen going the whole time. They also did NOT grind the Amalgam filling out the broke it into large pieces so no more that absolutely necessary would go back into my body. Anyway...my lower left where one root canal was removed shows as still infected in a bio scan. I do NOT want to get that whole bridge removed (the bridge replaced the root canal) Any suggestions?
