Re: relapsing polychondritis

My mother has this. I began doing research this morning on because I woke up with a weird pain in my ear cartalidge and thought of her. Of course my query led to RP results. I am only feeling ear sensitivity now in one ear but both when I woke up and this has never happened before. I immediately thought of her the second the pain began. My intuition has always told me that these types of conditions are onset from what we put in our bodies, though i only say this because of my perfect health I experienced on a raw foods diet and/or when I have eliminated all grains from my diet and sugars. There is a wonderful homeopathic doctor in Fountain Valley, CA I can get his info for you. He did wonders for my mother. He had her on a diet of no grains and no sugars (not even Watermelon or apples except on occasion) and she was able to eliminate prednisone at one point until she got back on the prohibited foods.

I am vegan and lately have been eating tons of grains and experience all kinds of respiratory issues instantly as a result. I am thinking about going raw or fasting if this continues. I have no peircings and there is no other explanation anywhere that compares.

My mother is in a critical debilitated state, but then again she has had this disease for over ten years after they only gave her ten years to live and she has terrible insurance and lives a party lifestyle while smoking and drinking every day. With no immune system as it is, I do not understand poisoning your body further, but to each their own.
