antidepressant increase

Anyone who is on an antidepressant, when they increased your dosage did you have side effects? I am on zoloft and was on 25mg for 3 weeks and felt good, he increased it to 50mg 7 days ago today and I am VERY emotional, I did have headaches they have gone away, I have anxiety in the morning and some Depression still throughout the day, I am tired most of the time as well. Please help, I am so discouraged, I thought they were supposed to help.
