As you probably know, I am the host of the Yahoo oleandersoup group, which has over 350 members and deals with oleander and other cancer and natural health subjects. Sutherlandia OPC is made exactly according to the "recipe" for oleander soup, which is itself modeled after the patented oleander extract medicine Anvirzel. The major differences are that the OPC is now made in a modern production facility and it consists of 80% oleander extract and 20 % extract of the South Africa Cancer Bush named Sutherlandia Frutescens, thus the name Sutherlandia OPC. The maker, Marc Swanepoel, feels that the Cancer Bush is a good compliment to oleander and he reports even better results than his original OPC formulations (the one for HIV contained 80% oleander plus the Agaricus Blazei Murrill, or ABM, mushroom, cat's claw and pau de arco and the one for cancer had the oleander plus the ABM mushroom, cat's claw and chrysobalanus icaco, aka the red tipped coco plum).
Myself, I take the homemade oleander soup regularly - but if I actually had cancer I would likely opt to also have the OPC.
