HSV1 & Relationships

I have been involved with a woman that does not have herpes for a year and a half. I general get cold sores about twice a year. We recently had a scare and she is now scared that she will get genetal herpes even if when i am not in an outbreak. Typically we are very careful and do not have oral sex when I am in an outbreak or for a week after. If we have been involved for this long and she has not gotten it, what are the chance of her getting herpes when I am not in an outbreak??? Our relationship may be hanging on this question. I feel like if she has not gotten and if we can be careful then our relationship will be fine. But I do not want to give it to her either if there is a chance of that, and she feels the same. Please help.
