has anyone here ever met someone they met on the internet first? i have and i am having sushi with him on his birthday at jun's on 75th and stateline in kansas city, kansas side of the street, end of this month. charlie is a retired IT guy and US Navy vet who met jun in tokyo some 40 years ago. when he moved to kansas city jun was here. its a small world. charlie had a stroke when i was enroute to here from alaska almost 4 years ago. i learned of it in some coffee house in canada. broke my heart cause i was looking forward to knowing someone here close when i got here and felt like i already knew him and were good friends. turns out he recovered fine and retired to nebraska. his kids and grandkids live here. also turns out we are good friends and he was exactly what i expected from his posts - a very meek and spiritual guy who loves god and his fellow man.

i have spoken to a few people on the phone that i met through curezone. i have never been disappointed by anyone i have had extra-internet contact with.
