On Anthony & Other Men Who Prey Upon Women!

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this. Are you referring to different personalities on CureZone, or in emails, or in person? Or perhaps all of them? And, to be very clear about something, it was absolutely not my first choice to deal with this in such a public format. I had attempted, several times, to address it with him privately, and you can see for yourself the response that I received. From what he told me, himself, there were other women from CureZone that he had also been involved with other than in cyberspace or astral space. And I have also been concerned for their sake, as well. I was aware of some, though not all, of his posting history on CureZone. And I received emails from him, and he actually used two different email descriptions, although it was the same email address. My personal encounters with him were limited to a handful of meetings, although I saw more than enough during that short-lived relationship!

One of the things that was emphasized quite a bit in my own spiritual practices is the importance of maintaining one foot solidly planted in each world! I believe that this is very good advice for any cultivator, and I see it as a not-so-uncommon problem with many achieved practitioners, and even masters and gurus! And there appears to be some common elements that are involved when in both the situation with Anthony, and some teachers of various spiritual practices. There are two ways, that I am thinking of, that are commonly exploited and those are in the realms of money and sexual energy. These people are essentially energy vampires, and they look for opportunities to prey on unsuspecting and generous people.

In addition to encountering this with Anthony, I have also encountered it on a much lesser scale with a TCM practitioner. This man was a quite powerful healer, and I saw him for acupuncture a couple times when my regular acupuncturist was on maternity leave. I had actually watched this man doing daily walking meditation in my neighborhood for quite some time, and in 1999 my regular acupuncturist had a baby, and someone referred me to this guy. He was very pleasant, and very good with needles and herbs, and I believe he might have even been a what is known as a sucking shaman. And yet, there was also something about him that made me uneasy. When I went to him I asked him to treat me for a cold, if I remember correctly. I had filled out a lengthy intake form on my first visit, and I had included that I had been diagnosed with a small asymptomatic cyst in my left breast. He worked out of his home, and had a established a full clinic in his living room and kitchen. Although he did not have gowns in which to change in. Any time that I had gone to my own acupuncturist, she either provided a gown or I wore loose fitting clothes that allowed her free access to needle me. So, when I went to this man I was dressed as I would for any acupuncture session. (I got needles for many, many years to help with my overall energy, and for various acute illnesses and endometriosis.) And yet, he wanted me to disrobe without a gown, and he proceeded to place his hand upon my left breast.

I believe this occurred on the second visit to him, and I did not return after that. A fellow student from my taiji class told me that this was not uncommon, and that she did not consider there to be any problem with what he had done. I strongly disagree! I had not given him my permission to 'treat' my breast, if indeed that is what he was doing. And my instincts told me that there was something much more subtle going on, and that he was attempting to steal some of my energy! I have encountered energetic vampirism before in several different forms, and some people who do this are not conscious of what they are doing, although their lack of awareness is not meant to be an excuse. I have also encountered those who knew exactly what they were doing, with full conscious awareness, and with the knowledge and development of skills that allow them to do this. Quite simply, this later group of people are opportunists and thieves! And Anthony/Aye would fall into this later category! And he had best clean up his act and pay back whatever he has taken from anybody!

And for those that are following this thread and reading this post, know that just because someone is cultivating spirituality, and just because they may be quite achieved, and just because they may even have some special talents like any variety of psychic abilities, for example, this does not mean that their intentions are honorable or that they necessarily mean to do well by other people!
