Re: Stuttering, rahter than go into analyis of cause

I have a few questions. Have you ever seen a speech therapist?-
or in your school when you were growing up?

I did, the result were 2 fold to breath in a different pace or manner L's killed me when I had to speak in front of the class!

If inhaling before starting, as one normally would, still produces the inability to produce the desired sound try an exhale instead. Center yourself before speaking before a group

Let the breath flow smoothly

Know your material, it will help with confidence

Are you in college? They will have programs for you is so.

I was put into speech class, where you give a speech ever 1-2 weeks based on your own creativity-Mr Stein- He loved me and I loved him.

He felt so inspired by my "recovery" and blossoming in his class, he called my mom and told her how talented I was...hehe

I continued in speech until the debate team in high school and after debate I went on to drama and more creative art. Oh yes, and song, singing helps strengthen the solar plexus and get breathing in a stylistic approach to the lyrics (words)

I love giving plays and being in plays- I suggest the problem can become your area of creativity-your wellspring

Thats a lot to do all in one swoop

If you have insurance or can afford it speech therapy
Public speaking,
Is there a toastmasters group in your area? You might call and see

If you are a student speech therapy may be free or nominal
you can be "cured"

I know you can do it but it will require some research and creativity

You are a great orator just waiting to bloom
