Where did the new 273 proteins come from?

I'm very confused: With all the millions of $$ being spent on HIV research, wouldn't someone finally say "hey somethings NOT right"???

2 month ago it was found that HIV needs 273 proteins in order to do it's dirty work. These scientists were working with SOME virus. Was it really HIV? Did these scientists isolate it? Did it band at 1.16ml? Why can't they make the connection that the virus they are studing does not cause AIDS? Were they given a virus to work on and told it was HIV when it really wasn't? Are they in cahoots with Robert Gallo?

If HIV is not the cause of AIDS then what virus are these scientists studying? I understand that, in 1990 at the San Fransisco International Aids Conferences, the co-discoverer of HIV (Montagnier) finally admited that HIV is a "peacful virus". But how can these top scientist be studing the HIV virus and not know that this virus is harmless? And why haven't people caught on to what Monganier said at the 1990 Internation Aids Convention??? Are Montagnier's statement obsolete since it was made in 1990??
