Re: What is the affect of Oil Massage on our body?
I have not given this much thought... good question.
I suspect it has to do with the type and quality of oil and the current state of the patient's skin... in both cases the alkaline\acidic nature.
The patient's attitude/current state of mind also would have a big (perhaps the largest) influence on the massage outcome.
Are they going in thinking "I am so happy and grateful to be taking time for me. This is going to help relieve ALL the stress throughout my body" OR, thinking, "I really do not have time for this, but it will be good for me"; thinking during the massage of all the things they should be doing, instead of being in the moment.
One statement they are letting go and resigning themselves to the moment... in another, they are hanging on... and in every other place in time (things they need to do), the past and future other than the moment they find themselves in.
You get the idea...
When I have the best frame of mind, can be and remain in the moment throughout, AND get a massage with a great coconut or olive oil after an alkalizing bath, I usually have huge euphoric benefits... almost like I am high.
