Re: More on upper intestinal protozoa--with pics!

I have the foremost tropical disease expert in Canada for my doctor, and the problem remains trusting the competency of the laboratory techs. Obviously this will not change until someone of importance discovers that healthy North Americans, do in fact, suffer from permanent intestinal parasitic inhabitants.
I am willing to gamble, that the large protozoa seen in the first posted picture is that of mutated giardia. It is a known fact that these animals will loose motility apparatuses once established in the host. One thing is for sure, it is a trophozoite. Shroom Tweet
