possible strep??

sunday night my 6 yr old was exposed to a child who was diagnosed on monday as having strep throat. tues about noon, my daughter began running a low grade fever and right now it's 102.3... She has a sore throat and only wants to rest... she's having trouble getting comfortable at night. We haven't been to a pedi in at least 3 yrs... at this point I wouldn't know who to call. I'm afraid they may drill me on why I didn't get her 4 yr old immunizations. I usually just give echinacha, elderberry, probiotics, etc. when my kids get sick, but I'm lost when it comes to possible strep throat. I don't want to play around with a bacterial infection... The fever worries me and I hate to see her suffer like this. What should I do?? I haven't given any tylenol. Does anyone know of a good natural pedi in the Houston area??
