Re: What happens is you break your fast the wrong way?

What happens is you break your fast the wrong way...what will happen? When you fast your digetive tract  is resting; by completion of the fast. is has become very sensitive. Breaking your fast incorrectly places stress on your now sensitive digestive system and ruins most benefits from the fast itself. It because of this sensitivity that caution is advised this is no different from certain cautionery measures doctors advise after surgery. It might be a good idea to wait to do a fast until your'e ready to conduct a proper fast that is breaking it correctly as well . When we take shortcuts ofcourse we lose the full benefits and end up complaining that fasting doesnt work when really the real problem is us, not only we do lose the benefits from the fast but we might regain weight as rapidly as we lost it afier all we are eating as rapidly so it corresponds and is no different as on loosing weight on any other diet then not maintain healthy habits you'll regain the weight . Its really in our best interests to conduct a proper fast otherwise all the pain from detox during a fast would have really been in vain.

Just wondering, what exactly is the correct way to do it?To begin you want to break your fast properly with the recommended foods- juice, raw fruit and veggies and you DEFINITLEY want to introduce those solids gradually.A good rule of thumb is to have your breaking of the fast period be 1/2 the duration of the fast so for a 10 day fast you want 5 days to slowly re introduce solids this way you dont burden you now sensitive digestive track.Next you definitley want to continue to not only eat healthy but not overeat. So youwant to really want to keep it as simple as possible
