Re: fecal body odor - does this sound like you (read)
Hey 89422,
I know how you feel. I too had a bad diet and also believe that this is contributed to a plethora of things. I myself noticed a change in
Body Odor back in January, 2006. Previous to that I was highly stressed, drank alot, ate horribly (heavy carbs), and almost perpetually frustrated and angry (bad year).
I'm thinking all my habits caught up to me...originally thinking that it was parasitic in origin, I thought my mom's new puppy might have passed something to me from petting him. Also, I've come to find out that silver
Amalgam can actually inhibit the body's ability to break down sulphuric compounds thereby pushing them through the intestinal lining and extcreting them through our skin and breath giving off this rotten egg/fecal aura to us. I had 2 new silver fillings placed in my mouth just 4 months prior to having this
Body Odor . AND to top it off, I conducted an experiment. Most people like us will almost react immediately when we eat something or put something in our mouths that we know our body will react to, so anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two and we can already smell something. I noticed I had a huge reaction to olive and olive oil products. So, I took a half teaspoon and placed it on my tongue and held it there until I smelled something....nothing, then I thought that if it rolled over my silver fillings something might happen. BINGO. That same familiar aura of stench emitted yet again from my pores. There must me a chemical reaction that causes our body to immediately emit this odor when coming into contact with silver amalgam. I got the same reaction to mixed drinks and smoking. The reaction is instantaneous. This might not be the same reaction for you, but I strongly believe we've just discovered another complication and danger of silver fillings in the mouth, Fecal
Body Odor . Could you imagine the uproar that would cause and how many class action lawsuits against the American Dental Association would pend if that was studied and proven across the board? We'd be RICH, I'd make sure of it!
BUT, I was able to eradicate most of the odor, about 95 to 98% with multiple
colonic irrigations, raw food diet, and staying away from simple carbs and sugars and managing stress reactions! So that meant all the good stuff I had to say good-bye too! I was pissed! At first the odor was so strong, I would sweat from the shock of it and almost have anxiety attacks because so many would notice at once. I mean it was comparable to rotting meat, feces, and garbage at the same time or one stronger than another. Nasty stuff.
Anyway, I think the connection with leaky gut is credible as well, but I posed this to my gastro and he chuckled at me and said I'd be hospitalized if that were true. That the body cannot sustain that kind of toxicity without being threatened with serious illness and a quick death. I beg to differ. Plain, we smell like it, so it must be IN our blood and getting there when it passes our intestinal lining. I don't know what exactly caused it, but for me, atleast it seems silver and stress has caused my digestive system to become compromised. Stress inhibits the body from properly digesting food to handle the 'flight or fight' syndrome, so in essence the longer we eat highly processed toxic foods and drinks, stress, and not give our body time to digest gives our it an opportunity to become susceptible to major damage either by bacterial over-growth like candida, parasites, or pathogens. I was feeling and eating this way for days on end since fall of 2003, so you can imaging long term, habitual abuse has to take its toll. If you eat a natural, raw and organic diet as possible, I'm sure a great majority of the odor will be gone. Then again, I mean how many people out there eat horribly, smoke, do drugs every weekend, which I did too, but no where nearly as much as my friends, and not have this odor??? So there must be something else we all have in common.
